How does Todoist handle recurring tasks?

Todoist handles recurring tasks by updating the due date to the next occurrence once a task is marked complete. It does not create multiple tasks as Google Calendar does, only one task with a dynamic due date.

In other words, there are no multiple tasks, but actually just one task with a dynamic due date.
