Can I ignore recurring events when syncing?

Yes. There's a filter on Notion that allows you to not sync recurring items.

1. Go to My automations.
2. Scroll down to Filters.
3. Sync Notion pages when All of the following are true (or Any). This depends on the number of filters you want to set apart from this one.
4. Below, add a new condition where the Recurring events checkbox property you have created is ☑ not Checked.
