Why are my completed Todoist tasks showing the wrong status in Notion?
If you're using 2sync to sync your Todoist tasks to Notion and have multiple completion statuses in your Notion database (e.g., "Done," "Archived," "Canceled"), you might notice that completed tasks from Todoist always sync with the first status in your list.
Here's why:
Todoist itself doesn't have different "completion statuses." It simply marks tasks as complete. When 2sync syncs this information to Notion, it automatically maps to the first completion status in your Notion database's property settings.
What can you do?
The best workaround is to adjust the order of your completion statuses in your Notion database properties. Ensure the status you want to use for completed Todoist tasks is the first on the list.
