Why are my Notion tasks not being assigned to the correct Todoist project?

The project needs to be existing on your Todoist. Otherwise, it will default to your Inbox.

If you want to use separate naming between your Notion project name and Todoist, we recommend creating a property called Todoist Project on your Notion project database, and then on your field mapping, change Match value with to the newly created property.
