How can I map a Todoist project or section with a relation database?
With 2sync, you can easily map a Todoist project or section with a Notion relation property.
Here's how you can do it:
Map a project
The Project (Relation) field allows you to link a page to another database page that represents a project. This enables you to associate items with projects.
Here's how to do it:
- Go to your Todoist automation.
- Scroll down to Field Mapping.
- Click on + Add Field.
- Select Project (Relation) field.
- Map it to the Notion project of your choice.
Note: If the relation property on Notion is linking to another database, this database also needs to be connected to 2sync so we can pull the data, as you can see in the screenshot below.
Map a section
The Section (Relation) field allows you to link a page to another database page that represents a section or category. This enables you to categorize items into different sections.
- Go to your Todoist automation.
- Scroll down to Field Mapping.
- Click on + Add Field.
- Select Section (Relation) field and map it to the Notion project.
- Map it to the Notion section or category.
Note: If the relation property on Notion is linking to another database, this database also needs to be connected to 2sync so we can pull the data, as you can see in the screenshot below.
