Outlook keeps every message in your inbox, filed by folder and, if you use them, by category. Notion turns the same message into a record: a page with a status, a follow-up date, and a link to the client or project it belongs to.

Zapier, Make, and n8n don't work from a fixed field list at all. You build the mapping yourself, one field at a time, so what lands in Notion is only what you wire up in the automation.
Attachments behave the same way across every method here. The Attachments property lists each file's name and size, and the same list is appended to the page body. The files stay in Outlook. Has Attachments is a filter condition, not a field you map, and no Notion plan size cap has anything to do with whether attachments sync.
The body is not a property either. It syncs as the page content itself, with basic formatting preserved, so opening a page shows the message rather than a summary of it. Everything above is read-only in Notion: an edit, a deleted row, or a rebuilt database has no path back to your mailbox.
Method 1: the Notion AI connector for Outlook
Notion ships one native Outlook feature: an AI connector that lets Notion AI read and search your Outlook mail inside chat. It's the closest thing to an official answer, which makes it worth understanding precisely, because it does not do what most people expect.
Connecting it takes more than clicking a button:
- Requires a Notion Business or Enterprise plan.
- Requires one person who is both a Microsoft 365 admin and the Notion workspace owner.
- Connects one Notion workspace to one Microsoft tenant.
- Cannot read attachments.
Once connected, Notion AI can search all your Outlook mail immediately from the All sources menu in chat, answer questions about it, and quote messages back to you. It never creates a page, a database row, or anything you can filter, sort, or build a view on.

Method 2: 2sync
For an inbox that files itself, point 2sync at your Outlook account and a Notion database once, and matching mail keeps landing as pages after that.

Method 3: Emon

Make's shape is a scenario rather than a single Zap: a Watch Emails trigger on the Microsoft 365 Email module feeds one or more actions, typically Create a Data Source Item in the Notion module.
The free tier works differently from Zapier's:
