2sync syncs 11 Gmail fields to Notion, including subject, sender, recipients, labels, attachment info, and email preview. Gmail sync is strictly one-way: emails flow from Gmail to Notion only. Notion serves as a read-only archive, and no changes in Notion affect your Gmail account.

All fields are read-only in Notion. Gmail sync is one-way by design, which protects your inbox from unintended changes.
Subject
The Subject field maps to Notion's Title property, the main name of each database page. The email subject line appears as the page title, making emails searchable in Notion. Emails without a subject sync with an empty title.
Sender and recipients
The Sender field stores the email address of who sent the message. The To, CC, and BCC fields store the respective recipient lists as Rich Text.
Use the Sender field to filter or group your Notion database by who sent each email. Combine with a Google Contacts relation to link emails directly to contact pages.
Labels
Gmail labels sync as a Multi-select property. If an email has multiple labels (Inbox, Important, Work), all of them appear in Notion. Use labels to filter which emails sync. For example, sync only emails labeled "Archive to Notion" for a focused reference database.
Labels in Notion are read-only. To add or remove labels, make changes in Gmail directly.
Attachments
The Has Attachments checkbox indicates whether the email contains files. The Attachment Info field lists attachment names and metadata as Rich Text.
Attachment files do not sync to Notion. Only metadata (file names, sizes) is included. Access the original attachments through the Email Link.
Email preview
The Email Preview field contains a short snippet of the email body, similar to what you see in Gmail's inbox list. This gives you a quick summary without opening the page.
The full email body syncs as page content. Open the Notion page to read the complete message with basic formatting preserved.
Date received
The Date Received field syncs as a Date property showing when the email was sent. Use it to sort your email archive chronologically or create date-filtered views (e.g., "This Week's Emails", "Last 30 Days").
Email link
The Email Link field provides a direct URL to the original email in Gmail. Click it from Notion to open the full email in your browser, including all attachments and formatting that may not be preserved in Notion.
Re-processing emails
If you change your field mapping or want to backfill new properties, use the Reset Sync History feature. This re-processes all emails matching your filter criteria and updates the corresponding Notion pages.
Reset Sync History does not create duplicates. Existing pages are updated with the new mapping.
